Members of the Class of 2018 received their diplomas May 20 at Colgate University's 197th Commencement. Richard Haass, president of the Council on Foreign Relations delivered the keynote address.

The following students have have been awarded degrees at McMurry University's Commencement Saturday, May 7, in Hunt P.E. Center.

The following people recently were initiated into The Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi, the nation's oldest and most selective collegiate honor society for all academic disciplines.

Through membership in one of the men's or women's social clubs at McMurry, students have opportunities for special involvement in intramurals, Homecoming, Presentation, Sing Song, and Slime Olympics, to name a few. Social clubs also leave lasting memories of friendship, leadership, acceptance of responsibility, and scholastic excellence.

o McMurry University student Marco Flores, a senior physics major from Dallas, Texas, has been selected to receive a UPS Scholarship provided by the ICUT Foundation and its national partner, the Council of Independent Colleges (CIC).

The Dean's Award for academic excellence is awarded to students with a 3.30 or higher term average while enrolled in 3.75 or more course hours.
